| So I lied. The thought of letting this thing die out was just kinda sad. I mean, after all, we have been through so much together. This is in no way a promise to keep this thing updated but ya know, in the off chance that something interesting happens to me, I want to make sure I have a place to talk about it. That's all. Oh yeah, go 'Stros! | | |
| Wow, 2 1/2 months and 1 comment. That's hard to take, so I think I'm pretty much gonna let this thing die out. It was pretty much on it's last legs anyway and I think everyone I know on Xanga is also on myspace so it shouldn't be too great a tragedy. Does anyone even update their Xanga still? | | |
| Celeste comes home on Saturday!! YAY!!
Have I mentioned how much I love Garth Brooks lately, because really, he's great.
Gretchen Wilson concert, 1 week from tomorrow!
Shopping tonight with Nathan.
Tomorrow is Friday and pay day.
Life is good. | | |
| So I was at my parents house the other night and was talking to my mom about how I'm really weird and get really excited about St. Patrick's Day every year. I know it's dumb because it's not a big holiday, but that's one of the things I appreciate about it. It's just a novelty day. You don't have to stress out about buying anything for anyone or having something bought for you or buying a costume or anything. So I said, "I guess it's because I've got a little Irish in me." And she goes "Actually, I looked it up and I was wrong. We're not Irish at all." Bummer. | | |
| My, oh, my, does it feel good to be healthy. This is the first full day of me being (almost) back to normal. Being sick for 2 weeks is pretty crappy but it really makes you appreciate all the days you get up feeling well and don't even acknowledge. How ungrateful we can be for some pretty darn important things in life. Last night Celeste made a list on the board at the FIGHT and had us all name things we were thankful for. It's funny how many things you really value in life but don't necessarily appreciate because you always just expect them to be there.
Anyway, so I'm thinking about having a St. Patricks Party at me and Lisa's next Friday. I'll have to make sure it's okay with Lisa but I think it will be. Instead of being a traditional St. Patrick's Day Party, we're just gonna have green colored drinks (no alcohol, sorry guys), and different green foods and I'm sure plenty of non green foods too. So if you think that would be fun and that you would come, let me know and I'll think about putting that together. I do reserve the right to change my mind and decide not to do this but I think it would be fun. So yeah, let me know what ya think. | | |
